Gary has trained with numerous coaches nationally and internationally but the one coach he has spent a great deal of time with, is Glennis Barrey.

Gary also trains with International visiting coach  Leonie Bramall (from Germany) and Lientje Schueler (Steffen Peter's Assistant Trainer from USA).

Gary also travels to San Diego regularly throughout the year to train with Steffen Peters.
